Bio: Dave Lamb loves to teach the Bible. This passion was developed during twenty years of ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, first as a student at Stanford (BA, MS), and then on IV staff in LA and Philadelphia. Studies at Fuller (MDiv) and Oxford (MPhil, DPhil) deepened his love for the Old Testament. He has been teaching OT at Missio Seminary (formerly Biblical) in Philadelphia since 2006. His dissertation, Righteous Jehu and his Evil Heirs was published in 2007 (Oxford). He wrote two popular books, God Behaving Badly: Is the God of the Old Testament Angry, Sexist and Racist (IVP, 2011 revised 2021), and Prostitutes and Polygamists: A Look at Love, Old Testament Style (Zondervan, 2015). He also wrote a textbook, The Historical Writings (with Mark Leuchter, Fortress, 2016) and a commentary, 1-2 Kings (Zondervan, 2021). He became the Allan A. MacRae Professor of Old Testament in 2016 and the Dean of the Faculty in 2017.

Dr. Michael Beck is South Atlantic Coordinator for Fresh Expressions US and North Central District Cultivator of Fresh Expressions for the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. He also leads the Fresh Expressions house of study at United Theological Seminary. Michael serves as senior pastor of Wildwood UMC where he directs addiction recovery programs, a jail ministry, a food pantry, and a network of fresh expressions that meet in places like tattoo parlors and burrito joints. Bio:
Jessica Hooten Wilson is Louise Cowan Scholar in Residence at the University of Dallas. She is the author of several books, including Giving the Devil his Due: Flannery O’Connor and The Brothers Karamazov, which received a 2018 Christianity Today book of the year in arts and culture award. In 2019 she received the Hiett Prize for Humanities from the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture. She is co-editor of the volume Solzhenitsyn and American Culture: The Russian Soul in the West, a collection of essays on the legacy of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. In 2022, she will publish The Scandal of Holiness: Renewing Your Imagination in the Company of Literary Saints (Brazos Press) and Learning the Good Life: From the Great Hearts and Minds that Came Before (Zondervan).

Eric Seibert is Professor of Old Testament at Messiah University and author of a number of books and articles including Disturbing Divine Behavior: Troubling Old Testament Images of God (Fortress, 2009), and The Violence of Scripture: Overcoming the Old Testament’s Troubling Legacy (Fortress, 2012). Eric is the winner of the Society of Biblical Literature Regional Scholar Award (Eastern Great Lakes, 2005) and has served as President of the Eastern Great Lakes Biblical Society (2010-2011). His most recent book is Enjoying the Old Testament: A Creative Guide to Encountering Scripture (InterVarsity, 2021). Eric enjoys hunting for beach glass, hiking, and watching Star Trek. Joshua J. Knabb is a board-certified clinical psychologist and professor of psychology and director of the PsyD program at California Baptist University.
